Paprika Chicken and Hummus

This recipe is not only healthy, but it is also really easy.  You’re friends will be very impressed if you put this together, because it shows a great understanding of how you can put flavors together.  All you have to do is take a chicken breast, season it with a little bit of garlic powder, and then lightly coat it with paprika.   The best way to cook this recipe is to bake the chicken in a 350 degree oven if you have the time, but if you’re in a rush then you can also grill it or broil it.  Whatever you do, make sure the chicken is cooked all the way through.

The really impressive part of this recipe though, is the pairing with hummus.  Since paprika is a nice way to spice up hummus on its own, the paprika flavored chicken works nicely to bring out the best of both flavors.

Add a couple of rings of raw red onion, and you have a great dish, that looks amazing, and tastes even better!

  • Chicken breast
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Hummus (if you can make your own, it’s even better, but a store bought variety works just as well)
  • Red Onion
