Yoga Wednesday: Up Dog

What makes an up-dog different from a cobra is that your thighs are off the ground. If you aren’t ready to pick your legs up off the ground then don’t! Stick with the cobra by leaving your legs on the ground and lifting your upper body off the ground just a tad – we never want to hyperextend the lower back! But if you are in cobra, roll the shoulders back and open up your chest.
